Radaeh

The world of Radaeh is the setting for the majority of my fantasy works, including the
Shahzar series and the upcoming works related to the city of Shan-Sei.

Radaeh (pronounced Rah-dah-eh) is a world overseen by several deities. In the heavens of
Radaeh, a battle broke out between the goddess of the moon and her lover, the god of the
sun, Shamah. Ishas, the one moon goddess, fought with her lover when she was in the final
term of her pregnancy. Her lover won the violent argument, resulting in the premature birth
of their three daughters: Taedra, Morin and Sahboo.

The three daughters became known to their followers as The Sister Moons, which taint the
sky a blue color when they come into conjunction over the sky of Shan-Sei, the temple of the
fallen moon where Ishas fell to Radaeh and burned to ash at the touch of her lover's light the
following dawn. Before Ishas's body was destroyed, she blessed, or cursed, depending on the
point of view, three men who discovered her. These three men became her prophets. Their
names are: Hadi, Zafir and Kateb.

Thus begins the tales in the Shan-Sei series.

The Fall of Ishas is coming soon:

In the case of the upcoming work, Althyn, she is a mermaid/drow mix who is part of the
farther reaches of island in the unnamed territory to the north of Shan-Sei and the Great
Desert. Her story encompasses the plundering of several temples of the Othian Church,
whose followers worship the sun god.

Althyn's tale is a current work in process. Here is the proposed cover art:
